Hi,
Over the past few days I've gotten several notifications from Kickstarter that "a backer wants an update on your project".
I'm sorry you are having issues, but I don't know what update you want me to give and I have no idea who to reach out to since Kickstarter doesn't tell me anything like that. I honestly don't even know how you request an update. This hasn't happened before to me in over 50 campaigns.
If I haven't been clear, then this campaign is over and the rewards have all been fulfilled.
Surveys went out months ago, as I told you in this post.

You can get a new survey here if you're one of the few people who haven't filled out your survey. I also sent new notifications to you yesterday in Backerkit.

I don't have any new updates to give you because this Kickstarter is over and fulfilled. It has been fulfilled for months.
Please stop asking for updates on it. There are no updates.
The only update I have is that I have a NEW non-fiction campaign for my book Publishing is Broken, But it Doesn't Have to Break Us.

Surveys are out + downloading your digital books

Hi!
Surveys are out. Woot! You should be getting an email to your Kickstarter email address.
As I mentioned last update, I've ordered books to the fulfillment center. We're waiting for proofs of the other books before we can place that order. Then, we'll have it shipped to our fulfillment center, and it will be mostly out of our hands.
Please note:
***WE WILL NOT BE SENDING YOUR EBOOKS FROM A WANNABE PRESS ACCOUNT***
You must must must download them from your Backerkit survey. These emails don't come from us. You should have them in your Kickstarter email address. Look for a survey with this subject.

Please note: If you chose the HIDE MY EMAIL feature while backing the campaign, you will not get your survey. Please message us your email and we will get it sorted.
Below, I'm going to tell you how to download your digital rewards.
STEP 1: Log into your email and find your survey confirmation. If you type in survey confirmation Backerkit Russell or survey confirmation, you should be able to find it.
STEP 2: Scroll down.
STEP 3: At the bottom, there is a unique link to get back to your survey. Click it.
STEP 4: That link will take you to your survey. Once you finish your survey you will be taken to your survey confirmation page.
If you have ALREADY filled out the survey, then you can use the same link to get to your digital rewards.
(FYI: If you need to change your address, you can do it at this stage.)
Once you get to that page, then click the link for digital rewards.
STEP 5: BOOM! There they are.
There you have it!
If you chose digital rewards, then your rewards are now fulfilled. Otherwise, we will be sending an update to physical books once we ship them.

Hi!
Thank you so much for backing the campaign. I'm so appreciative of you. :)
The good news is that these books are already ordered and in queue to be printed. I placed the order last night, and hopefully they will arrive in the warehouse in a couple weeks.
I've ALSO already set up the Backerkit surveys. The only thing left to do is pay the invoice when they make it available. Then, I will submit for review.
I'm hoping to get the surveys out this week with the digital rewards. I'm flying to Boise on Wednesday and then Vienna on Sunday. So, I'm hoping I can process the digital by then. If not, I'll still have internet while in Europe, but I'll be less available.
Now that the books are ordered, there's little I can do to influence them. It's up to the printers and the fulfillment house. Hopefully, We can get these orders out by the middle of July at the latest, and hopefully before then. It just depends when everything shows up and when they can schedule us in to ship between their bigger orders.
Again, thank you soooo much. I can't wait to get this book into your hands. :)
